To create a new palette, first select "New Palette..." from the file menu.
You will be asked to save the palette's file when the palette is created. OneClick! automatically updates this file whenever you change any information on the palette. OneClick must be able to locate this file whenever the palette is opened. Do not move, delete, or rename this file while the palette is open. (See "Getting Started" for more information on moving, renaming, and deleting OneClick! palette files).
Once the palette file is saved a new palette will appear on your desktop. You may drag the palette to a convenient location on your screen.
You are now ready to place items on the palette tiles. (See Adding items to the Palette)
Example:
Tom wants to create a palette called "Tools" in his "OneClick" folder. Tom first chooses "New Palette..." from OneClick's "File" menu. He then uses the Finder's "Save" dialog box to save the new palette file as "Tools" in his "OneClick" Folder. Once completed, the new "Tools" palette appears on Tom's desktop.
